About Me

Hi! My name is Stella McFarland, I’m originally from San Diego, California and I moved to New York City in 2021. I am a student at Fordham University graduating in 2025, pursuing a bachelor of arts in Journalism and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a minor in Spanish.

I am interested in pursuing a career in marketing, advertising, copywriting, public relations, and journalism. I have a passion for writing and have continued to explore multimedia forms of journalism through my participation in MODE Magazine, Fordham University's student-run fashion and lifestyle magazine, and The Fordham Ram, Fordham University’s newspaper. My current coursework allows me to gain interviewing, editing, filming, and writing skills across various multimedia platforms including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign.

I am passionate about fashion, beauty, health and wellness, women's studies, social media, and culture, and I would be thrilled to build a career around these interests. As a highly enthusiastic team member, I am open to any and all opportunities to learn and grow professionally.
